VIDYA PRAVESH:
A three-month Play-based School Preparation Module for students of Grade- I has been developed as per the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP).
The purpose is to help teachers ensure that all children experience a warm and welcoming environment when they enter Grade I. The goal is to create a stimulating learning environment that is joyful and safe, ensuring emotional security and providing support.
Play-based pedagogy has a vital role in creating a joyful and stress-free environment for all children to learn, as also in addressing the learning needs of children with special needs.
The focus is also on learning in the mother tongue or the home language; allowing as many languages as children bring to the classroom.
